Jasmine Itliong
Chief Executive Officer / Executive Director
As a graduate of San Jose State University, Jasmine found her passion of working in non-profit organizations dedicated to youths during one of her volunteer classes. Having both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Communication Studies, Jasmine now dedicates her time and experiences to giving back to the community in any way she can, offering a helping hand wherever it may be needed, and supporting youths in all areas to overcome any barriers to reach their personal – and educational – goals. During her free time, Jasmine loves to try new food, explore new places, or binge-watch Netflix shows at home with her hyperactive pup.

George Herrera
Program Coordinator
George is a San Francisco native. He graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning. With a deep love for sports, George is an avid fan of the local teams and has channeled his passion into coaching. For the past seven years, he has dedicated his time to working with youth as the varsity basketball coach at a local high school, helping to foster not only athletic skills but also personal growth and teamwork.

Ayla
Youth Services Coordinator
Ayla was born and raised in the Bay Area. Graduating from UC Berkeley, she found her passion working with youth through volunteer work. Since 2020, Ayla has worked directly with youth through academic and professional development, resource coordination, and management. Ayla worked as a tutor for several years before becoming a Program Coordinator working in under-resourced schools in East and West Oakland. All those wonderful experiences brought her to City Youth Now! Ayla enjoys pitching in wherever it is needed and is guided by the belief that working with youth is some of the most rewarding work that can be done! During free times, Ayla loves playing with her tuxedo cat Churo, playing with the neighbor’s cat Louie, volunteering with cat cafes, hanging out with family and friends, going for walks, and reading books.
