Big Cheers to 75 Years!

City Youth Now is turning 75! To celebrate this milestone, we held our annual Rise Awards as part of our 75th Anniversary Celebration at Above the Rim at Chase Center on May 22nd, 2025. This celebration honored our scholarship recipients, recognized those who have made significant contributions to our organization’s success and growth, and celebrated our lasting impact on the community. Additionally, the event also helped raise essential funds to support our programs.

At A Glance Impact:

For 75 years, City Youth Now has provided programs and services dedicated to the youth and young adults experiencing the Foster Care or Juvenile Court System. Throughout these years, we have provided the following:

  • Over 70 academic scholarships between 2016-2024, over 90% pursuing higher education and coming from the SF Foster Care/Juvenile Court System

  • Support to approximately 1,000-2,000 youth and young adults a year through our Personal Empowerment Program to promote stability, personal growth, and long-term success

  • Provided over 730 Internships to youth through our Youth Partnering for Education and Employment Program, assisting in first-job experiences and providing supplemental support through personal development workshops and 1:1 trainings
