INDIVIDUAL GRANTS — Graduation Gifts
Imagine growing up with the odds stacked against you. Now, imagine
beating those odds and getting ready to go to your senior prom or
walk down the aisle with the rest of your graduating class.
High school graduation is an exciting moment in any child's life—one
that truly deserves a little pomp and circumstance.
Unfortunately, most of the youth we serve cannot afford a dress
or tuxedo for their senior prom or the cap and gown for graduation.
City Youth Now provides funds to ensure that these memorable
moments will be cherished forever.

Vincent, age 17, has a 3.5 GPA and has received several college
scholarships. He also plays basketball. He is well on his way to
a successful future, but Vincent is in the foster care system and
could not afford the expenses for his senior prom. We did not want
him to miss out on this just because he was a foster youth, so City
Youth Now covered the costs for his tuxedo rental.
