STAFF

For almost 50 years, City Youth Now (formerly the Volunteer Auxiliary
of Youth Guidance Center) relied entirely on volunteers to staff
our work. However, times have changed. Volunteers' schedules have
become much busier and our organization has been inundated by
an increasing demand for services. Today, in addition to volunteer
supporters, our office is staffed on a permanent basis by an Executive Director and a Program Director.
Brittany Heinrich — Executive Director
Brittany Heinrich is City Youth Now’s Executive Director. Brittany joined City Youth Now in February of 2007. Before joining City Youth Now, Brittany was a museum educator and university instructor. Her primary responsibilities include overall leadership and financial oversight for the organization, as well as fundraising and public outreach. She is pleased to be the caretaker of City Youth Now’s mission and looks forward to helping it thrive under her stewardship.
Brittany is passionate about the arts, youth, literacy, and travel. After spending four years living, studying, and teaching in France and Quebec, she has returned to California to work in the non-profit sector. She brings with her a vast array of work experience in fundraising, marketing, program development and delivery, brainstorming, fine art, and education. Under Brittany’s stewardship, we are confident that City Youth Now will continue to serve the increasing needs and demands of San Francisco’s neediest children and continue to grow as an organization.
Brittany received her master's degree in Art History from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She is active with Bay Area and National art museums, organizations, and galleries.

Caitlin graduated from Gordon College in Massachusetts where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Social work. Caitlin is passionate about urban youth, specifically incarcerated youth. She has been dedicated to serving under served populations of youth by encouraging them to be true to themselves.
Caitlin's primary responsibilities include program over site, management, and development for our existing and upcoming programs. She is involved in community collaborations and outreach to further the mission of City Youth Now. Caitlin is committed to helping youth achieve a better future and contribute to that commitment in any way she can.
