Only youth under San Francisco court jurisdiction are eligible to apply.

The Sari Wade Scholarship is a $1500 award for college expenses for a foster care youth.

The Jesse Williams III Scholarship is a $1500 award for college expenses for a current or former juvenile probation youth.

The Joan Coyne Memorial Scholarship is a $3000, presented to youth from either the probation or foster care system.

The Ticket to Dream Foundation Scholarship is a $3000, presented to youth who are or previously were wards of the foster care system.

The Greg Suhr Scholarship is a $1000 award presented per year for four years to one foster youth or probation youth (must maintain a 2.5 GPA or above).

Application deadline: March 29, 2017 by 5:00 PM

Application instructions: Eligible youth must be referred by a Probation Officer, Juvenile Hall Counselor, Log Cabin Ranch Counselor, Social Worker, CASA Worker, attorney, or other youth advocate. Applications must be submitted to City Youth Now by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, March 29, 2017.  They can be mailed, dropped off, faxed, or e-mailed to our office.

Referrals will be screened by City Youth Now and selected scholarship recipients will be notified by early-April.
