SPECIAL PROGRAMS AT JUVENILE HALL

For several years, City Youth Now has sponsored author visits to the individual units and library at the San Francisco Juvenile Justice Center.

In 2007, we took our mission statement one step further to sponsor numerous special programs for the incarcerated youth. The programs sponsored by City Youth Now at the San Francisco Juvenile Justice Center promote dignity, expose the youth to new opportunities and worlds they have never known, and provide a bright spot in their days.

The visits focus on educational enrichment and positive personal development, encouraging the youth to step outside their comfort zones to explore new things!
