San Francisco jazz group gets down with the residents of the San Francisco Youth Guidance Center
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — October 22, 2007 — The Mitch Marcus Quintet put on an intimate performance for approximately 20 residents of the San Francisco Youth Guidance Center. The group delivered a unique compilation of all-original, post-apocalyptic jazz to scintillating trance hypnotism. The performance lasted from approximately 7:30 to 9PM with a question and answer session during the intermission. The all-instrumental performance was a new experience for many of the youth and became much more popular after taking the advice of one audience member who asked them to "crank up the bass!"
