grosses outthe Youth Guidance Center
SAN FRANCISCO, CA—December 4, 2007—The Insect Discovery Lab paid a visit to San Francisco's Youth Guidance Center and was accompanied by a number of creepy, crawly, bugs. The Insect Discovery Lab is a program of the Center for Ecosystem Survival and exposes students to the extraordinarily diverse world of insects and other arthropods. Some of the braver students got to hold beetles, millipedes, walking sticks, and giant grasshoppers, while learning about their key role in the web of life. The Insect Discovery Lab will be back to the Youth Guidance Center in 2008 to put on a similar presentation for some of the younger residents.
