INDIVIDUAL GRANTS — Medical & Dental

Occasionally, children in the juvenile court system have medical or dental needs that no other source is willing or able to fund.

For example, City Youth Now receives many requests for eyeglasses for youth in Juvenile Hall who were never told before that they had a vision problem or for weight loss and nutrition programs for youth who are suffering from obesity or other medical problems.

City Youth Now tries to help with medical and dental expenses that cannot be provided by any other funding source.

Spotlight

Sean, age 18, was embarrassed to smile in public because he had a rotten front tooth. Thanks to Dr. Richard Hoedt Jr., who is willing to donate his time and services, Sean now flashes those pearly whites whenever he gets a chance. (He also tells us he has started brushing twice everyday.)

Thank you Dr. Hoedt!
