INDEPENDENT LIVING GIFTS

This year 300 youth will age out or emancipate from the San Francisco Juvenile Court System. Of these youth, 65% will do so without a place to live and only 15% of them will secure a job.

With your generous gift, City Youth Now will provide these youth aging out of, or emancipating from the system with continued support as they move into their first apartment, attend college, and search for their first job.

Your generosity will provide support for foster youth beyond the age of 18 who are instantly cut off from a system that never prepared them to live on their own and instantly expects them to become responsible adults.

Independent Living Gifts:

Provide a youth aging out of the system with assistance preparing for their first interview, setting up their first apartment, or preparing to start college or job training.
