INDIVIDUAL GRANT GIFTS
Children in foster care are six times more likely than children not in care to have emotional, behavioral, or developmental problems. This is attributed to the lack of opportunity and resources available for them to participate in recreation and personal development opportunities.
With your gift, City Youth Now will address the unique and individual needs of delinquent and dependent children in a number of areas including personal development, recreation, health and wellness support, graduation support, and emergency clothing to ensure that every child has a chance for a "real" childhood.
Your generosity will ensure that City Youth Now provides youth in the system with positive opportunities, filling in the gap when the system falls short. You will help the 'system' do for these children what any parent would do for their own child.
Individual Grant Gift:
Provide the essential funds to provide a foster child with the opportunity to dance, sing, have new clothes, take care of a cavity, buy a yearbook, or attend senior prom!
