While the holidays are a time of family and tradition for most children, this is not the case for those in foster care. Instead the holidays remind them of isolation, loss, and sadness. With your gift, City Youth Now will be able to provide an abused, neglected, or troubled youth (10-18 years of age) with a holiday gift this season, reminding them that somebody cares.
Several well-known programs provide for the youngest children in the system, but few remember young people over the age of 10. We think that ten is just too young to give up on the hope and anticipation of the holidays. Your generosity will ensure that no child is forgotten!
